What are the benefits of the PADI Project AWARE specialty course?
The underwater world needs heroes. You can be one of them by championing the causes of the world’s most fragile and important aquatic ecosystems. You learn about: The ocean commons and coastal zone issues, Fisheries challenges and sustainability, Coral environment overview and inhabitants and the role of the scuba diver in protecting aquatic environments. You can make a difference each and every time you go diving!
COST: $90
PREREQUISITES: Junior Open Water Diver. Minimum age – 10 yrs old.
MATERIALS: none.
COURSE DURATION: 2.5 hours of classroom.
CUSTOM SCHEDULES: We reserve this course with a customizable schedule, please let us know your availability.
WE PROVIDE: Instruction with a PADI Professional.
STUDENTS PROVIDE: A printed copy of the FREE classroom materials from the Project AWARE link provied above!
Release Forms required: Liability Release and Assumption of Risk, Medical Statement, Standard Safe Diving Practices. (please see our "Links" page to download these and have them completed before training begins) Note: If you have a YES to one of the medical questions, you will need to get a doctor’s approval before participating in this program.
