PADI Equipment Specialist specialty rating
What are the benefits of the PADI Equipment specialty course?
Whether it's a blown o-ring, regulator problem, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, you can learn how to manage basic scuba equipment adjustments. As a PADI Equipment Specialist, you are prepared for the basic scuba equipment maintenance, care and adjustments you'll encounter every day. In addition, you'll learn interesting background information about how your gear works, how it’s repair and other information that helps you with your equipment investment.
COST: $229
PREREQUISITES: Junior Open Water Diver. Minimum age – 10 yrs old.
MATERIALS: none.
COURSE DURATION: 2.5 hours of classroom.

STUDENTS PROVIDE: Nothing except a willingness to learn!
Release Forms required: Liability Release and Assumption of Risk, Medical Statement, Standard Safe Diving Practices. (please see our "Links" page to download these and have them completed before training begins) Note: If you have a YES to one of the medical questions, you will need to get a doctor’s approval before participating in this program.
