PADI Drysuit Diver specialty rating

What are the benefits of the PADI Drysuit Diver specialty course?

 

Dry suits let you dive more challenging dive sites, and extend your dive season. When you have the right cold water scuba diving attire, especially at inland dive sites such as quarries, lakes, sinkholes and caves etc. As a dry suit diver, you’re equipped to scuba dive some of the world’s incredible dive sites in the world’s cooler regions that are best enjoyed in a dry suit even in their warmer months.

COST: $125    NOTE: This specialty requires to student to provide their own drysuit

PREREQUISITES:  Junior Open Water Diver or Open Water Diver. Minimum age – 10 yrs old.

MATERIALS: PADI Drysuit Diver crew pack (approx. $65).

COURSE DURATION:  2 dives.

CUSTOM SCHEDULES: We reserve this course with a customizable schedule, please let us know your availability.

WE PROVIDE: Instruction with a PADI Professional.

STUDENTS PROVIDE: Proof of scuba certification, Logbook, RDP (table or electronic) OR dive computer, BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask/Snorkel/Fins, tanks and weights.

Release Forms required: Liability Release and Assumption of Risk, Medical Statement, Standard Safe Diving Practices. (please see our "Links" page to download these and have them completed before training begins) Note: If you have a YES to one of the medical questions, you will need to get a doctor’s approval before participating in this program.
